The movement
works in circles

Not as a metaphor. As a structure. Each circle brings together people who share a particular relationship with water and work together from that place.
Most organisations divide people by role.

The World Water Movement brings people together by knowledge

Our circles are working groups, each organised around a distinct dimension of water: scientific, cultural, spiritual, educational. You don't apply to a circle because of your title or your credentials. You join because of what you know, what you care about, and where you want to contribute.
FIELDS OF ACTION

The four circles

Circle of Education
For educators, communicators, and storytellers whose work brings water knowledge to new audiences. This circle develops the language, frameworks, and materials that make complex water science accessible without making it smaller. If you believe that awareness is the first form of action, this is where you belong. One focus is on developing a program on water consciousness for schools.
Circle of Healing
For practitioners, healers, healthcare professionals, and experts in water ecology and regeneration who understand water as both a therapeutic and regenerative system. This circle connects clinical and holistic knowledge and explores how the quality, structure, and context of water - in the human body as well as in natural water systems – mutually influence each other and contribute to the regeneration of living systems.
Circle of Technology
For engineers, inventors, and practitioners who have developed technologies, methods and processes for water, often inspired by natural principles and the emulation of natural processes. This circle connects existing global know-how into approaches for structuring, vitalizing, energizing, informing, and purifying water – from local applications to broader perspectives on water bodies and water systems.
Circle of Consciousness
For those who experience water as more than a physical substance: as a living presence, a teacher, a mirror. This circle holds the dimension of the movement that no scientific framework has fully captured yet: the ceremonial, the symbolic, the spiritual and the sacred. It works alongside the other circles, not apart from them.

Your place in this movement is waiting

Whether you know which circle is yours or want help finding it, we would love to hear from you.
Every new member of the World Water Movement has a conversation with the team before finding their circle. We want to understand where your knowledge, your experience, and your energy meets the work we are doing. The right place has a way of becoming clear.
